That's true (just checked). But this doesn't mean it's not wrong. :)

What I really wonder is is the difference between ls -ldF Mail and
Mail/ then.

The manpage says, it adds an /, but if this / is already there, why
should it add one more?

Ok. It's not logical, but UNIX never has been logical.
