I think you can install the FreeBSD bootmanager with no harm to get back to your FreeBSD partition. You may instead install a different boot manager (osbs2beta) . msdos.sys is (afaik) a secondary boot file that resides in the DOS (Win95) partition and has nothing to do with FreeBSD boot. > > trapped in windows, > justin > --Chris Christoph P.
