Hi mls (mailing list subscribers)
I am looking for some texts and programs for performance tuning my system and network.
I know these programs:
The system: top, ps, vmstat (more?)
Users: w, who, users, watcher (more programs to see what your users are doing and how many resources they are using, fx the traffic to their website)
Programs: gdb (more programs to monitor a program, to see what it does)
Network (connections): netstat, sockstat, fstat
Can you get cachestat and fuser for FreeBSD?
I have read the FreeBSD handbook on configuring the kernel, but do you know any other system/network tuning texts?
