Take a look at this project at sourceforge.net. At the moment there are only HP-UX 10.20 and 11 and Solaris 2.6 and 2.7 supported but it should be easy portable. http://sourceforge.net/projects/armor/ Once you had done the work to port it to BSD contribute it back to all people.
