Has anybody else encountered this panic? It occurs only when I have 2 or more processes of >=1GB running. I will build a debug kernel now and wait for the next panic. - Till ########################### last messages before reboot ########################### pid 867 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 874 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 876 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 877 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 891 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 892 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 893 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 900 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 1041 (python2.3), uid 0: exited on signal 11 ad0: TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=157835242 pid 1258 (python2.3), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 1259 (python2.3), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 1274 (python2.3), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 1415 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 10 ad0: TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=157823458 ad0: TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=157823458 ad0: TIMEOUT - READ_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=80228994 ad0: TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=80228834 ad0: TIMEOUT - READ_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=80240642 ad0: TIMEOUT - READ_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=157836086 pid 10957 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 ad0: TIMEOUT - READ_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=80240642 ad0: TIMEOUT - READ_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=157836086 ad0: TIMEOUT - READ_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=157835286 ad0: TIMEOUT - READ_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=157836086 pid 14903 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 6 ad0: TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=157823458 pid 15489 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 15872 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 11 pid 15865 (python2.4), uid 0: exited on signal 6 TPTE at 0xffff800000a0ce60 IS ZERO @ VA 1419cc000 panic: bad pte at line 2539 in file /usr/src/sys/amd64/amd64/pmap.c cpuid = 0; boot() called on cpu#0 ######## uname -a ######## FreeBSD plewe3.is.tsukuba.ac.jp 5.2-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT #3: Thu Apr 15 16:32:25 JST 2004 root@plewe3.is.tsukuba.ac.jp:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/MYKERNEL_4BSD amd64 ######## dmesg ######## FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT #3: Thu Apr 15 16:32:25 JST 2004 root@plewe3.is.tsukuba.ac.jp:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/MYKERNEL_4BSD Preloaded elf kernel "/boot/kernel/kernel" at 0xffffffff80755000.
