I agree with those sentiments.

From my reading, the -core decision was to *MOVE* linprocfs.  There's 
no *RE* involved !  If a person's not capable of doing the whole job, 
then they shouldn't do any of it !

I'm too pissed off at the useless bloody-mindedness of this to say 
any more.
