I'm suspect this went by when I wasn't paying attention because it didn't affect me at the time, but... The machine my company issued me has a decent monitor (Princeton Graphics EO700), but the computer it's connected to has a fairly generic Intel motherboard. It's on-board graphics is provided by an Intel 82810E. I'm running 4.3-RELEASE-p18. As best I can tell, I need to either A) Install Xfree86 4.x from the ports 2) disable the on-board graphics and install an adapter with something like an S3 or ATI chip set. Anyone got ideas on which is the better way to go? -crl -- Chad R.
