Kristof mentioned that's expected on a recent FreeBSD main, that you do not see the issue. Kevin worked around the problem with 725e4008efef32dfbe57b3e21635fa80dde8ee38 and ca3fc7aabe3998822c6e1357df922618afb18648 and you may need to revert those two to see the problem again. Kevin Bowling mentioned in comment #49 that there seems to still be a critical bug in the driver initialization. His commit did not fix the issue, it "simply reduces the damage for common use." he mentioned.
