Is it not the time to remove

	NOT_FOR_ARCHS = alpha

from the gcc42 Makefile?

Is anybody having trouble with gcc42 on alpha?

I've been installing every new version of it on my DS10L for about
a year, and it always works fine. I just upgraded to the latest:

% gcc42 -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: alpha-portbld-freebsd6.2
Configured with: ./..//gcc-4.2-20071017/configure --disable-nls --with-system-zl
ib --with-libiconv-prefix=/usr/local --with-gmp=/usr/local --program-suffix=42 -
-libdir=/usr/local/lib/gcc-4.2.3 --with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/local/lib/gcc-4.2.3
/include/c++/ --disable-libgcj --prefix=/usr/local --mandir=/usr/local/man --inf
odir=/usr/local/info/gcc42 alpha-portbld-freebsd6.2
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.2.3 20071017 (prerelease)
