https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=277826 --- Comment #48 from Charlie Li <vishwin@freebsd.org> --- (In reply to Max Brazhnikov from comment #47) > Nobody removes the DOCS option. I disable the option on some ports I build for my own pkg repository, like this one. That's not nobody. > Not at all if you use portscout/repology and have configured workflow. kde@ keeps hundreds ports in sync. This isn't kde@. Even with the best update reminder pings in existence, I and the others in python@ are inevitably going to forget even small things like syncing docs because it will be out of sight/out of mind. This effect is especially pronounced when others not directly involved with port maintenance unduly rush us in updating stuff. > I wouldn't be so categorical. It is a simple technical question, one of the solutions in the latest patch. Yes I will. There will be no further discussion. (In reply to Michael Osipov from comment #44) subpackages won't save you, since the build process, including build dependencies, is unchanged, only what gets packaged where. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
