*Argh* I forgot about make's 'feature' of keeping everything in-core for
every single invocation.
> # cd /usr/src/usr.bin/lex
> # make bootstrap all install
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Try this instead
# make bootstrap
# make all install
