This is also an option: - https://github.com/c3d/db48x/blob/dev/LEGAL-NOTICE.md As a consequence of recent legislative activity: - California (AB-1043) - Colororado (SB 26-051) - New York (S8102A) - Brazil (15,211) Brazil residents may no longer use FreeBSD after 2026/03/17. California residents may no longer use FreeBSD after 2027/01/01. Colorado residents may no longer use FreeBSD after 2028/01/01. New-York residents may no longer use FreeBSD at some point in the future. Let people pick up the phone (or email) and contact their local politician about this - to change this bullshit law. We may also rebrand FreeBSD as 'framework'. One can use this FreeBSD 'framework' to build operating system - but legally - it would be a 'framework'. That may be even easier.
