There's no -j specified; I just ran another buildworld just to be
sure.  The command line (tcsh) was:

  make buildworld >& /var/tmp/buildworld-021213.log &

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the last part of

| I personally find no -j faster then supplying a -j.

These days, the speed doesn't bother me much one way or another
(CPU: Pentium 4 (1694.86-MHz 686-class CPU)
