Is the Linux machine on the same network segment as your nameserver? If
not, you may be able to setup a static route in your router config and
disable the Linux machine.

Another option would be to simply unplug the Linux machine. :-)

The student is disrupting network services. Don't you have a policy to
deal with this? (Perhaps expulsion from school if he won't change the IP.)
