Thank you for your interest and submitting a concise bug report with
reproduction steps. We have done a lot of work to improve BSD Grep in FreeB=
SD
prior to making it the default, and this issue is not reproducible thus
reporting this to Apple would be appropriate. However, comment #2 claims th=
at
it is already fixed in a more recent macOS version so I suspect there is no
value in submitting such a report.
