(Jaye Mathisen reported an NFS problem, Jordan Hubbard responded, asking if there are any others experiencing interoperability problems with NFS under 2.2-GAMMA) This problem sounds like a problem I'm having and one that was reported in the FreeBSD newsgroup a little while ago. At least the effect is the same. I filed a problem report, kern/2858. So far I've only gotten the automated acknowledgement of the pr. It's a serious problem for me and is holding up some things I'm trying to do. I also notice that the problem only occurs with FreeBSD clients; SunOS, Solaris and Linux clients do not have the problem. -Fred Gilham gilham@csl.sri.com
