Is there any place I can : read license policy? I mean it's clear when to put own copyright, but : there is no info when to put license to file with derived code. That's hard to know. Legally, once you get into the 90-95% range, you most likely have a whole new work (it depends, since once you get to that point, most of the code likely is insignficant or dictated by externalities, which isn't covered). If it is < 50%, then definitely you need something. Between these two ends is a judgement call. Is there any creative part to what you've included? If so, then include the license. Warner
