Hi All, Special thanks to Paul for his answer. As reported to Paul (Sorry I have been rude I forgot to post the group)I am still facing some problems as it seems that the machine does not "load" the software downloaded fom the Digital FTP server. Could it be linked to some switch config inside the machine? As I have been browsing thru various documents lately I finaly found out that the alpha had two sets of "flash" roms, one for each "system" ARC and SRM, maybe the "system" version I have is already loaded for SRM and it is just question to know how to activate it??? Current version of my arc system seems to be 4.56. Thanks for your comments and sorry to waste your time as I am sure you already answered that kind of questions a thousand times.
