No, but the modem is sharing an irq with atapci1, which
has the boot drive hanging off it.

Questions.

What does the dmesg look like without the SCSI card?
How is it different?

You appear to have a PS/2 mouse.
Why are both COM ports enabled?

If you don't have a printer, turn that port off too.

You have way too much stuff in this box <bg>
