I am trying to get a 3C589B 3Com Etherlink 3 card working in my Toshiba
Tecra 500. I have obtained and installed teh PAO patchesfor 2.2 GAMA.
The card is set to IRQ 10 and I/O address 300.

When the machine boots, it finds the card, and corectly identifies it.
When I do an ifconfig ep0 the correct information is displayed.
I can ping the machines IP address OK. Any atempt to ping external
macines fails. tcpdump runing on this device shows no packets on an
	active network.

The card (and adapter cable for thin coak) works corectly when I boot
	the mcahine in Windoze 3.11.

During boot up the LED on the card comes one, blinks breifly and then
later in the boot process goes out.

Ay sugestions as to what I can do to troubleshoot this probelm?
