FreeBSD 4.6.2

I just bought a Hauppague WinTV radio and was trying to get it running on
FreeBSD. I got vidio and sound working when I use -disableDirectV. If I
don't use that setting I get video for a several seconds then the computer
freezes up completely. The video that i get has some blocky distortion
also.
I had a similar problem when using 3d on linux. It would work for a
random number of seconds then freeze up the computer. I assume both of
these
problems have to do with memory corruption.
Is there any way to fix this problem or should I just stick to
-disableDirectV? I'm not sure if this is because I configured something
incorrectly or if its a hardware problem.
I'm going to post my XF86Config, dmesg, kernel configuration, and fxtv
-debug
startup.
thanks,
Corey Holcomb-Hockin
