https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D236956 Bug ID: 236956 Summary: [ntp] [patch] Optionally run ntpdate at host resume time Product: Base System Version: 11.2-STABLE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: conf Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bsdpr@phoe.frmug.org Created attachment 203314 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D203314&action= =3Dedit Patch allowing to optionally run ntpdate at host resume time When sleeping a host's hardware clock may wildly be drifing out of sync with UTC, ntp will correct that but it could take a few hours before the system = time is again in synchronized. The proposed patch address this issue by optional= ly running ntpdate at resume time. While working on this I took the liberty to document the configuration variables used by the ntpdate rc script. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
