It should be noted here that core@ doensn't view MAINTAINERS as an absolute lock, and that people that abuse other people with it on a regular basis will be disciplined. MAINTAINERS is a tool that has been abused in the past, and if there is further abuse in the future the nature of this tool will likely radically cahnge. Warner
