Andi-- Each version of FreeBSD comes with set of release notes that highlights the most visible or significant changes from the previous release. In the binary install distributions, you can find it in the top-level directory of the CD-ROM, install floppy, or whatever, as RELNOTES.TXT. Source distributions of FreeBSD (for example, retrieved by CVS) have this file as /usr/src/release/ texts/{i386,alpha}/RELNOTES.TXT. There is a link to the release notes on the "Release Information" page on the Web site as well. Hope this helps, Bruce. --==_Exmh_-560066320P Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (FreeBSD) Comment: Exmh version 2.2 06/23/2000 iD8DBQE6zbwG2MoxcVugUsMRAgLpAKDp4gAwBvc66gXfWJuo8tAaiVTpUACgitPq h7ele3zemRTe0GZkTSAotbo= =d6vP -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --==_Exmh_-560066320P-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
