Hi!
I've just installed 4.1-RELEASE on my laptop I get this message:
chip2: <ESS Technology Maestro 2E Audio controller> irq 5 at device 12.0
on pci0
So, it recognises the card, but is it supported? I added "device pcm" to
my kernel config and I made the devices in /dev, but "cat /dev/sndstat"
gives this:
cat: /dev/sndstat: Device not configured
I read somewhere that someone was working on support for the Maestro, but
I don't know about the status. I would be happy with just playback
fuctionality to start with.
