That's largely how freebsdzine.org works

We have a number of topics we think are interesting to write about, those
get written about and then there's a large number of people requesting a
certain topic which one of the regulars from Undernet's #FreeBSD or one of
the mailinglist authors picks up and tries to document.

Might work for the Doc Proj as well mayhaps?
