This may be nothing. A subsequent make attempt (after cleaning) sailed through this. I'm suspecting some kind of hardware issue (RAM probably). I a cc died on signal 10 error earlier, too. Sorry for the noise. --Morgan -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Morgan Davis Sent: Thursday, April 01, 1999 11:16 AM To: freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: parse error in vi sources breaks -stable make world cc -O2 -pipe -DGTAGS -I/usr/src/usr.bin/vi -I/usr/src/usr.bin/vi/../../contr ib/nvi -I/usr/src/usr.bin/vi/../../contrib/nvi/include -I/usr/obj/usr/src/ tmp/usr/include -c /usr/src/usr.bin/vi/../../contrib/nvi/vi/v_z.c /usr/src/usr.bin/vi/../../contrib/nvi/vi/v_z.c: In function `v_z': /usr/src/usr.bin/vi/../../contrib/nvi/vi/v_z.c:68: parse error before `SCR' *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop.
