sure, it is. Read carefully the ipfilter and ipfw and pf
papers, with many scripts and recipes spreaded all over
(search http://groups.google.com to find it).

the pf is for the OpenBSD (look at http://www.openbsd.org)
while ipfw and ipfilter is for the FreeBSD
(http://www.freebsd.org).
