And > does raidutil work with it? > > Matt Answers: yes yes yes depends The 2110S works with the asr driver. raidutil will work with it (I haven't tried raidutil in a couple of years, YMMV). You might even be able to dig up Storage Manager, Storage Manager Classic, and/or Storage Manager Pro for it. Of the three, I recommend the last one, but then I was the one who wrote all of the Unix/FreeBSD support for it. The 2120S and 2200S will work with the aac driver. None of the apps I mentioned earlier will work with these. However, you can download 'aaccli' for FreeBSD which will work. I have no idea if it will be shipped in box with these cards, but you can download the version that shipped with the 5400S adapter from the Adaptec website. However, there are some compatibility issues with using the older aaccli and the newer cards. Until I get a chance to do the required engineering on it, I'd recommend trying the Linux version of this. You'll need to make sure that the AAC_COMPAT_LINUX option is defined when you build the driver in order for this to work. Out of the choices, I'd highly recommend the 2120 or 2200. They both support Ultra320, and the firmware/raid architecture is far superior to the asr group of cards.
