Folks, I recall recent posts regarding changes in NTP under 3.3-STABLE, but I'm running 3.2-RELEASE on one of my machines, which I'm currently rebuilding the kernel on to test a patch to /usr/src/sys/net/route.c. However, I noticed the following warning during the kernel build process: cc -c -O -Wreturn-type -Wcomment -Wredundant-decls -Wimplicit -Wnested-externs -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith -Winline -Wuninitialized -Wformat -Wunused -fformat-extensions -ansi -nostdinc -I- -I. -I../.. -I../../../include -DKERNEL -DVM_STACK -include opt_global.h -elf ../../kern/kern_ntptime.c ../../kern/kern_ntptime.c:533: warning: initialization from incompatible pointer type Now, maybe this has been there all along, maybe this has been discussed prior to when I subscribed to the list in September, or maybe I missed some threads since then, but I didn't see anything that appeared to be related to this in my private archive of this mailing list. I hope this isn't something I need to be worried about? -- These are my opinions -- not to be taken as official Skynet policy ____________________________________________________________________ |o| Brad Knowles, <blk@skynet.be> Belgacom Skynet NV/SA |o| |o| Systems Architect, News & FTP Admin Rue Col.
