I gave up on using the dhclient in the master tree and made a picobsd port of the isc dhcp package (which of course is now out of date). My port lets you crunch dhclient or dhclient+dhcpd together with other stuff. http://www.errno.com/net4501/net4501.tgz (look for ports/dhcp).
