Try with the latest 15.0 snapshot image (from https://download.freebsd.org/snapshots/ISO-IMAGES/15.0/) - it's possible that something was fixed after 14.0. 2. See if a verbose boot gives you more information - in the loader choose the boot options menu and then choose verbose boot.
