After I updated to 4.8-STABLE (from May 9th, 2003), and rebuilt, I still had the problem, so I applied your patch, rebuilt the kernel again, and voila! It works! Thanks for the patch and the quick response!! Can we be confident this will make it into 5.1-RELEASE and/or 4.9-RELEASE?
