Ya, set up a UUCP session between the two.  If you have unix on the calling
side (the lame side w/out a static IP), that one box *can* run SMTP (and
probably will, if you are running sendmail), so  that the disconnected
network can use modern tools, but still have a store-and-forward mail
environment.

As to *really* doing  SMTP to a dynamic IP, er.. ya, right.
