Julian, Actually, it might have been me... and if so, it wasn't Linux, but rather Lynx (a real-time UNIX-like OS) who apparently "ported" SMC's ezsetup software to their system... very impressive actually. That's not a lot of help, of course, but I was hoping that the fact that others had succeeded in doing it might serve as inspiration to some CS undergrad.. ;-) ... JG
