When booting from FreeBSD4.0 I also see the error message 'ahc0: Signaled A Target Abort' . Now I tried to install FreeBSD4.2 - but the machine stops after this error message . I changed a cables, terminators, ... but have still the same problem . >How-To-Repeat: Can I use FreeBSD4.2 with an adaptec aic7xxx SCSI Controller or should I better buy a new mainboard ? Does anybody knows about this problem ? What can I do to fix it (changes in the BIOS, use another boot disk, ...) ? >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
