It works for my particular case but as Ache says it doesn't work in
general:

[root@sonnie ~]# mount -u -o noexec,ro /vol0
[root@sonnie ~]# mount | grep vol0
/dev/ad0s2d on /vol0 (ufs, local, noexec, soft-updates)
