Anybody ever set up a parallel port scanner? I've never set up any parallel port devices in un*x before, so i'm kinda in the dark of how to go about setting it up. Do I need a special driver for it? What kind of stuff do I have to include in the kernel? I'm running 4.0-Current (i386 -- i have an alpha w/ freebsd on it too, so i have to make the destinction :) It's a UMAX Astra 2000P flatbed. Any shared experiences would be welcome ;) -Jesse P.S. thanks for the info on the soundcard... I'm getting a pci128 this weekend. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
