The workaround in r420152 has the undesirable side-effect of also disabling=
 AVX
and AVX2 extensions, which clang will use by default even on integer code.

Since that workaround was committed, VBox has been updated from 5.0.26 to
5.2.2.  Has anyone done any investigation to determine whether this bug is
still present?
