I recently (about two weeks ago) upgraded a FreeBSD system to 4-STABLE, and was hoping it'd fix problems I'm having with the orinoco card in it, using the Lucent ISA adapter. The wireless network works perfectly after boot, for about 2-48 hours. Then, the machine falls off the network, and nothing I've tried on console gets it back. (I've done everything short of ejecting and re-inserting the card...) A tcpdump sees traffic on the wireless network. The _card_ must be working. But sending packets fails (a ping says "sendto failed" or something similar) and so nothing actually works. I've tried everything I can think of, and I'm out of ideas. Unfortunately, the box is in a remote location, and so I don't have easy access to it. Any suggestions for troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated! --plambert To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
