FWIW, I also experience the same behavior: past@laptop$ vmstat -i interrupt total rate clk0 irq10 488774 100 ... past@laptop$ grep config /etc/pccard.conf config 0x0 "ed0" 10 ... I did mention it on this list a while ago.
