I see that the port maintainer has updated the xawtv port to include support for libzvbi, which gives us scantv. Nice! I also read the commit message which states that scantv won't work. When I run 'scantv -c /dev/bktr0 -n pal -f europe-west', I get this output: ----[ cut here ]---- [global] freqtab = europe-west [defaults] input = Television norm = PAL vbi: open failed [/dev/vbi0] open /dev/vbi0: Invalid argument ----[ cut here ]---- and I get "white noise" in my speakers when the command runs.
