The issue here is that there are nameservers out there which, with the prior release of freebsd, worked fine with sendmail. An incompatible version of sendmail is about to be foisted on an unsuspecting public. I don't care particularly one way or the other, as I now know what the problem is, and how to fix it. Other's will have to go through the same discovery. I am only wasting my time in an attempt to make things easier for them. Cheers, Damon.
