I am asking you to put back stuff used to be 'fool protect' guard. If people will have deprecated locales in /usr/share/locale then nothing will prevent them from using them. And it will work correctly, until something will change in locale structures or until application is not using nl_langinfo(). The only purpose of this stuff will be post-install cleanup of part which may cause problems to users. > > is appropriate and note in UPDATING and HEADSUP to -current and > > -ports would be enough to warn people. > > UPDATING note submitted today, Thanks! > HEADSUP was anounced few years ago. There're no letters to -current from you in my mailbox.
