I have this in rc.conf: syslogd_flags="-s -s" I've had this occur one additional time in the intervening year: Dec 5 16:45:28 mr-kronecker ctld[10384]: 10.0.1.2 (iqn.1994-09.org.freebsd:<...>): requested target "iqn.1988-03.<...>" not found Dec 5 10:45:28 mr-kronecker ctld[3226]: child process 10384 terminated with exit status 1 So clearly not a frequent event, and only ever occurring (for me, at least) on the first message logged from ctld after a configuration reload.
