I understand (I think) but it doesn't feel appropriate here.  They don't
share distfiles, they have overlapping functions, but I don't think
they're a whole lot closer than emacs/xemacs are.  Seeing as a WHOLE LOT
of our less experienced hackers both use the port AND don't clearly
understand ports well enough to reliably navigate make variables,
I don't see what the gain is, that it justifies the loss.

I think this is used by too many of our less sophisticated users to go for
it, myself.
