Hi,
I just noticed you weren't on the reply list - I think Matthew Reimer
must have BCC'd me (you too ?).
Setting the tuner type with sysctl might be enough my sysctl.conf
has hw.bt848.tuner=5.

Boggle, good catch! - did you really need the channel set or would
a TVTUNER_SETFREQ also work. If so then the new version of the port on
ftp.sohara.org may do the job too (it supports setting device, frequency,
and format via environment variables).
