https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=277852 --- Comment #51 from Marcin Cieślak <saper@saper.info> --- I can help here - I am no good Ada programmer (total beginner) but got myself recently into the inner details of gprbuild and how it really works. There are alire packages like "make" or "openssl" which correspond to our FreeBSD port devel/gmake and the base (or port or pkg-base) openssl respectively. This needs to be somehow handled for our OS - a crude attempt to make "aws" to build via alire on FreeBSD is here https://github.com/alire-project/alire-index/pull/1815 I am working towards getting gnatstudio to build, right now I was able to manually build many dependencies of it (some of them are not installable via alire), such as langkit, libadalang, vss. Maybe we should create a mailing list or use some forum to discuss issues related to porting stuff to ada? We could use some corner on https://forum.ada-lang.io/ or whatever most people here prefer. If there is enough interest, "ada@FreeBSD.org" (or similar) could be set to be a maintainer of most Ada-related ports. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
