Hi,

As suggested on FreeBSD forum, here is the bug I opened : 
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=289297

As described, this seems to be a known issue with large number of 
threads and APIC IDs > 255

Hopefully we are still on time for a fix for 15.0
