Kiser >Release: 4.1R >Organization: >Environment: >Description: Downloaded /bin /catpages /floppies from 4.1-RELEASE directory from ftp3.freebsd.org. Perform installation (custom) Problem is that the 3.1 Kernel gets installed instead of the 4.1 kernel and the /etc/fstab entries are all /dev/adxxx. But the 3.1 requires /dev/wdxxxx. But why is the 3.1 kernel being installed. I have checked and downloaded the 4.1-RELEASE distributions and boot disks twice. I cannot boot the new system because of this problem stuff twice. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: Well, the 4.1 kernel could be installed and that would do it. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
